To submit a paper for review by the editorial board please email us at

Your paper will be processed by our editorial team. We aim to have papers returned to authors within 6 weeks. There is no charge to submit, or publish papers in the Digital Culture and Education journal, which is a non-commercial, open access academic journal.

Current Call for Papers: Digital Nature Connections Special Edition

Please ensure papers are between 6000 and 8000 words, with a 200 word abstract.

We ask that all papers are presented single spaced, ideally in Ariel or Calibri (font size 12), using Harvard Referencing. For examples please refer to our previous papers, available here. We are happy to include any tables, graphs, images, videos, audio, or other attachments as needed. Please contact us via email should you have any questions or requests. This journal is able to host additional materials online (e.g. datasets, podcasts, videos, images etc) alongside the full-text of the article. Again, please email us to request and discuss this.

We are also keen to hear about ideas beyond traditional articles, including (but in no way limited to) podcasts, videos, webinars, artwork, webcomics, eBooks, eZines, and other forms of public scholarship.

Should you have any ideas that we can help you with, please email us at

Finally, we do accept pitches for special editions. Should you wish to submit a proposal for a special edition, please reach out to our editorial team with a 300 word abstract at
